After completing my BFA at Canterbury School of Fine Arts, I left New Zealand for further studies in Germany and London.

Most of my working life as an artist has been spent in England , Germany and Austria.
In 2011 I received the Karl Weiser Prize for artistic achievement in Salzburg, Austria.

Since 2024 I have set up a studio space in Whitianga, where I can work from for six months each year.
My works are mostly monochromatic to enhance the sense of “Magic Realism”, light and plant matter are my subject matter.
