We are 7 artists from the Whitianga Art Group exhibiting in 2025. Our names are Margaret Gibson, Jackie Chatfield, Misun Jung, Gillian Mc Nabb, Jenny Cotterell, Merle Ward, and Junko Hooper. We are part of a larger group of 30+ members first established in 1979.
The Art Group meets regularly two to three times a week to paint and create together. We are very fortunate to own a large historical school building constructed in 1895 and relocated from the old school site to the recreational reserve at the end of School Road Whitianga.
