My art journey started as a school student in England; most of my family are creative and artistic, so I grew up surrounded by various arts and crafts.
I moved to New Zealand in the late 1990s, and was inspired by the light, the clarity, and vibrant colours of the stunning and diverse NZ landscape.
I paint mainly in acrylic on canvas, although I have worked with watercolour in the past, and occasionally sketches with colour pencils.
I love creating images that are familiar, iconic, typically NZ.
I particularly enjoy painting the flora and fauna of this spectacular country.
