Clay has been in my blood since 1981 and continues to ebb and flow within me, I know not where I end and the clay begins. Inspiration comes from all around me - particular pieces of music, walks in nature, time at the beach collecting shells and glass.Some works take weeks to construct, they evolve, they have a life.

While they dry and have their first firing to 1050 degrees and glazing they are asleep. It is only with the second firing to 1200 degrees that they emerge and reclaim that life. It is a privilege to work with clay and the journey continues.
