Through my work with Birds as a former Vet nurse and a Wild Bird rehabilitator, I was fortunate to observe and connect closely with wildlife.
This gave me a deep appreciation for their anatomy, feather structures, and even their quirky nature and expressions. Details I now bring into my mosaics to make them as lifelike as possible.
After mastering the basics of Mosaics 9 years ago, I developed my own unique style, working mainly with china. Collected from secondhand shops and op shops.
Recycling and giving new life to these objects is an important part of my creative process.
